Job Description:

Job Summary

We are looking for a Project Manager with hands-on expertise in Yardi Voyager and US Real Estate Accounting to lead offshore accounting delivery for US property management and asset management clients. The role requires ownership of client delivery, team management, month-end close, and Yardi system operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Client & Delivery Management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for US clients for accounting delivery
  • Manage the transition of new properties and portfolios from the client to the offshore team
  • Handle client escalations, audits, and reporting requirements
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs, timelines, and quality benchmarks


Hands-on Yardi Operations
Perform and review accounting tasks directly in Yardi Voyager, including:

  • AP invoice posting and approvals
  • Cash receipts and bank postings
  • Journal entries and GL maintenance
  • Lease setup, rent roll validation, and tenant records
  • Configure property setup, chart of accounts, and GL mappings
  • Resolve Yardi posting and reporting issues and coordinate with Yardi support if required
  • Generate and validate financial and operational reports from Yardi

Accounting Ownership

  • Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close for multiple properties

Review and finalise:

  • Bank reconciliations
  • Accruals and prepaid schedules
  • Fixed assets and depreciation
  • CAM reconciliations and recoveries
  • Ensure financial statements comply with US GAAP and client accounting policies

Team Management & Quality Control

  • Lead and mentor a team of 3–15 accountants
  • Allocate work, monitor productivity, and conduct technical reviews
  • Train team on US accounting concepts and Yardi best practices
  • Build backup resources and reduce dependency on single individuals

Process Improvement & Reporting

  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation in Yardi and Excel
  • Prepare and maintain SOPs, control checklists, and training documents
  • Track KPIs, prepare MIS, and provide delivery status to management
  • Support business growth by assisting with new client onboarding and scalability planning

Required Experience & Skills

  • 4+ years of experience in US Real Estate Accounting and Yardi Voyager
  • Strong hands-on expertise in Yardi Voyager (mandatory)

Solid understanding of:

  • Property accounting
  • CAM reconciliations
  • Lease accounting
  • Month-end close processes
  • Prior experience in KPO/BPO or offshore accounting delivery model preferred
  • Experience managing and reviewing work of accounting teams
  • Excellent client communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong MS Excel and reporting skills
  • Ability to work in US shift and peak close timelines

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA Inter / CA
