Sr. Executive to DM - Instrumentation - Projects

Job Description:

 Provide instrumentation & Automation expertise to project team for CapEx projects by providing lead in
Project management, Engineering (Basic & Detail), Engineering coordination during procurement,
construction and commissioning, with the perspective of Instrumentation & Automation, and with a SHE
mindset.
 Lead in Instrumentation & Automation based Capex projects from ‘Concept to commissioning’.
 Prepare Project technical proposal on instrumentation & automation, in coordination with functional
teams & engineering consultants, PFD, P&IDs, and Equipment & Piping Layouts as required.
 Coordination with OPS team members for all cross-functional data like Process data, Electrical/
Mechanical Load list, civil layouts, etc.
 Ensure all the “agreed to” recommendations are implemented in relevant documents.
 Prepare Activity list & schedule for Project, all in coordination with project controlling group.
 Prepare final Scope of supply work and cost estimation according to Capex guidelines and
approval requirements (documentation delivery on time).
 Prepare Project Approval Proposal & Presentation to Head Project Management, to then seek final
approvals according to the ‘Delegation of Authority’ guidelines.
 Participate in Concept & Basic Engineering activities like, PFDs, P&IDs, etc. with help of OPS team and
consultant (as required).
 Lead in Detailed Engineering Activities like Instrument Index & Specs, I/O list, JB/Cable Tray schedule,
Cable/JB layouts etc.
 Lead in DCS (Control system) related engineering activities pertaining to the process design & controls.
 Lead Hazop/SIL study and incorporate the recommendations into project.
