Sales Engineer

Job Description:

We are looking for a dynamic and technically strong Sales Engineer to drive sales of electrical panels such as LT panels, HT panels, PCC, MCC, APFC, and control panels. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and providing technical solutions to meet customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and develop new business for electrical panels and related systems

• Meet consultants, contractors, OEMs, and end customers to promote products

• Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable solutions

• Prepare techno-commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders

• Coordinate with design, production, and project teams for order execution

• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with customers

• Track sales performance and achieve assigned targets

• Conduct site visits, product presentations, and technical discussions

• Follow up on inquiries, orders, and payment collections

• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering

• 3–8 years of experience in sales of electrical panels or switchgear

• Strong technical knowledge of LT/HT panels and electrical systems

• Good communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications

• Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits

Preferred Skills

• Experience dealing with EPC contractors, industrial clients, or utilities

• Knowledge of standards like IEC, IS, and relevant electrical codes

• CRM and MS Office proficiency
