Accounts Executive

Job Summary

We are hiring an Accounts Executive for a manufacturing unit in Valsad. The role requires hands-on experience in GST compliance, particularly Annual Return (GSTR-9 / 9C), along with day-to-day accounting and statutory compliances relevant to a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain books of accounts including vouchers, journal entries, ledgers, and bank reconciliations

• Handle GST compliance: GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9 & GSTR-9C

• Perform GST reconciliations (Books vs GSTR-2B, GSTR-1 vs 3B)

• Manage GST compliance related to manufacturing activities (raw materials, finished goods, job work, scrap sales)

• Assist in GST audit and coordination with CA / consultants

• Ensure compliance with statutory timelines and GST laws

• Maintain records for inward & outward supplies, E-way bills, and stock-related accounting

• Assist in TDS, TCS, and other statutory compliances

• Support month-end and year-end closing activities

• Handle queries/notices from GST department, if any

Qualifications & Experience

• B.Com / M.Com (CA Inter preferred)

• 2–5 years experience in accounting & GST, preferably in a manufacturing company

• Mandatory experience in GST Annual Return (Form GSTR-9 / 9C)

• Good understanding of GST Act applicable to manufacturing units

Skills Required

• Proficiency in Tally / ERP systems

• Good working knowledge of MS Excel

• Strong reconciliation and analytical skills

• Attention to detail and compliance accuracy

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Experience in manufacturing industry accounting

• Familiar with inventory accounting, job work, and scrap accounting

• Local candidate from Valsad / South Gujarat preferred
