QA/QC Executive
Job Description:
QA / QC Executive – Woven Textile Industry
Key Responsibilities:
• Inspect greige and finished woven fabrics to identify defects such as ends out, picks, slubs, holes, stains, oil marks, and barre.
• Measure and verify GSM, fabric width, shrinkage, skew, and bow in accordance with approved specifications and buyer standards.
• Monitor weaving, dyeing, and finishing processes to ensure adherence to quality parameters and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure shade consistency and evaluate color fastness (washing, rubbing, perspiration, light) as per buyer and industry standards.
• Perform in-process and final inspections following AQL norms and approved quality plans.
• Prepare and maintain quality inspection reports, test records, and non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Coordinate with production, dyeing, and finishing teams to analyze defects, implement corrective actions, and minimize rejections and rework.
• Ensure full compliance with buyer requirements, technical packs, and internal quality SOPs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance fabric quality, yield, and customer satisfaction.
