Senior Accountant

Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting functions for an export manufacturing organization. The candidate will be responsible for statutory compliance, financial reporting, cost accounting, and handling export-related transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage complete books of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliation.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

• Handle export documentation accounting such as:

  • LC, BG, Shipping Bills, Export Invoices

  • Foreign currency transactions & forex accounting

• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory filings.

• Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.

• Monitor inventory accounting, costing, and variance analysis.

• Prepare MIS reports and support management in financial decisions.

• Handle vendor payments, customer collections, and ageing analysis.

• Ensure compliance with FEMA and export incentive schemes (MEIS/RODTEP/Advance License).

• Supervise junior accountants and review their work.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards and taxation.

• Experience in export/import accounting is mandatory.

• Proficiency in Tally/ERP (SAP preferred).

• Good understanding of cost accounting in manufacturing.

• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot, MIS).

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile:

• 5+ years experience in manufacturing/export company.

• Hands-on experience in audits and compliance.

• Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
