Job Description:
- Inventory & Stock Control: Managing raw materials, packaging materials (RM/PM), and finished goods (FG) storage, including physical verification and accurate record-keeping.
- Logistics & Receiving: Handling incoming raw materials, checking against Purchase Orders (P.O.), and inspecting quality before storage.
- Production Support: Issuing raw materials to the production department in accordance with manufacturing schedules.
- Material Handling & Safety: Ensuring proper stacking, storage, and housekeeping (5S) to maintain safety and easy access to materials.
- Dispatch Operations: Coordinating the dispatch of finished products to customers or distribution centers.
- Vendor & Departmental Coordination: Liaising with suppliers for logistics and communicating with internal departments for inventory updates.
- FIFO Implementation: Ensuring materials are used on a First-In-First-Out (FIFO) or FEFO basis to prevent spoilage.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining accurate stock registers, inventory reports, and, in some cases, negotiating with material suppliers.
