Press Machine Operator/Fabrication/ Fitter/Welder

Job Description:

1. Press Machine Operator – JD

Responsibilities:

• Operate power press machines (mechanical / hydraulic / pneumatic)

• Set up tools, dies, and molds as per job requirements

• Monitor machine performance and ensure production quality

• Inspect finished components using measuring instruments

• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma preferred

• Experience operating press machines

• Knowledge of tools, dies, and safety standards

• Ability to read basic drawings

2. Fabrication Fitter – JD

Responsibilities:

• Assemble fabricated metal parts as per drawings

• Align, fit, and install components using hand and power tools

• Perform drilling, grinding, and cutting work

• Assist welders during fabrication and assembly

• Ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards

Requirements:

• ITI Fitter or equivalent

• Experience in fabrication and structural work

• Ability to read fabrication drawings

• Knowledge of measuring instruments

3. Fabricator – JD

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate metal components using cutting, bending, and shaping processes

• Read and interpret fabrication drawings

• Perform layout marking and material preparation

• Coordinate with welders and fitters

• Maintain productivity and quality standards

Requirements:

• ITI / Diploma preferred

• Hands-on experience in metal fabrication

• Knowledge of MS, SS, and structural materials

• Good understanding of fabrication tools and equipment

4. Welder – JD

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding operations (MIG / TIG / ARC as applicable)

• Read welding symbols and technical drawings

• Ensure strong, clean, and defect-free welds

• Inspect weld quality and perform minor repairs

• Follow safety and quality standards

Requirements:

• ITI Welder or equivalent certification

• Experience in industrial welding

• Knowledge of welding techniques and electrodes

• Ability to work independently

5. Fitter – JD

Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical components and machinery parts

• Perform fitting, alignment, and installation work

• Use measuring tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, gauges

• Identify and correct fitting defects

• Support maintenance and assembly activities

Requirements:

• ITI Fitter

• Experience in machine assembly or maintenance

• Ability to read mechanical drawings

• Strong knowledge of tools and measurements
