Job Description:

Major Objectives of the Job:

  • Manage and grow the Services, Re-certification, and Inspection business for Height Safety equipment,

including Self-Retracting Lifelines (SRLs), Escape Descenders, Retrieval Winches, Tripods, and other Fall

Protection and Rescue systems.

  • Generate committed and sustainable service revenue in line with annual budgets.
  • Drive year-on-year growth in the height safety services portfolio through customer retention and new

opportunities.

  • Achieve market expansion by increasing service penetration across key sectors and customers, positioning

Kanoo as a preferred Height Safety service provider.

 

Main Responsibilities

Business & Revenue Performance

  • Achieve the annual Fall Protection (FP) Services budget and drive minimum 20% year-on-year growth in

services business.

  • Retain and expand existing service contracts through proactive customer engagement and value-added

services.

  • Evaluate quotations, follow up on POs, and administer client accounts, including credit control and

payment follow-up.

  • Ensure timely invoices and support collections in line with agreed schedules.
  • Stock planning for service spares and controlling spares stock and optimization of stocks to avoid any aged

stocks and financial provisions.

Workshop Operations & Technical Excellence

  • Develop, document, and maintain Work Procedure Manuals for Height Safety and general workshop

services, ensuring management approval and compliance with latest standards.

  • Lead advance planning of servicing, inspection, and calibration jobs, ensuring adherence to schedules and

optimal resource utilization.

  • Manage workshop housekeeping, safety, and operational discipline, ensuring readiness for audits and

inspections.

  • Coordinate closely with servicing teams, service coordinator, and Service Manager on:

o Job planning and execution

o Ordering and availability of service spares

o Technical discussions and performance reporting

Workshop Upgrade & Modernization

  • Lead the upgrade and modernization of the Height Safety Workshop.
  • Ensure approved budgets are effectively utilized to enhance productivity, quality, and turnaround time.

Client Engagement & Service Planning

  • Conduct minimum three (3) customer site visits per month, including onshore and offshore rigs. Minimum

of 2 meetings weekly with Client HSE Managers and Procurement Team.

  • Develop long-term client relationships by proactively understanding, managing, and responding to

customer requirements.

  • Provide pre-sales technical support, product education, and post-sales service support.
  • Organize and support principal visits, technical presentations, and product demonstrations aligned with customer needs.

Planning, Scheduling & Reporting

  • Lead weekly service and inspection planning, including client work scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Conduct weekly service team meetings and provide structured updates to management on activities, risks,

and action plans.

  • Submit timely and accurate monthly functional reports, ensuring availability of structured YTD data at all

times, including:

o Quotations submitted

o Orders Received

o Pipeline for the month.

o Service orders pending customer delivery

o Pending invoicing schedules

o Collection and payment follow-up status

Compliance, Governance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure full compliance with company policies, procedures, HSE, and quality standards.
  • Resolve all customer account queries (quality issues, credit notes, discrepancies) within defined timelines.
  • Demonstrate independent working capability, strong initiative, leadership, and a strategic approach to

service growth and operational excellence.

Experience Required: 10 years + in Managing workshop or Service activity.
