Job Description:
Office Administrator cum Accountant manages daily office operations while handling core financial tasks such as bookkeeping, invoicing, and bank reconciliations. This dual role ensures financial accuracy and operational efficiency, including payroll processing, vendor payments, and administrative support. Key requirements include proficiency in accounting software like QuickBooks/Tally, MS Excel skills, and strong organizational abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Accounting & Finance:
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Process invoices, receipts, and payments promptly.
- Prepare monthly financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Handle payroll processing and tax/VAT filings.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and audit preparations.
- Office Administration:
- Manage office supplies, inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Handle correspondence, emails, and phone inquiries.
- Coordinate meetings, travel arrangements, and schedules.
- Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems.
- Support HR functions, such as onboarding and employee records.
Requirements and Skills
- Experience: Proven experience in accounting or office administration.
- Software: Proficiency in Accounting Software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and time management.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
