Role & Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, fitting, assembly, and dismantling of mechanical machine parts.

• Carry out preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery.

• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and layouts accurately.

• Install, align, and adjust shafts, bearings, gears, couplings, pumps, and conveyors.

• Identify faults, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and carry out timely repairs.

• Ensure proper lubrication, replacement, and alignment of machine components.

• Coordinate with the production team to minimize downtime.

• Maintain maintenance records and follow safety standards and SOPs.

• Assist in machine installation, commissioning, and shutdown activities.

• Ensure tools, equipment, and spare parts are used efficiently.

Key Requirements

• ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Engineering preferred.

• 7–10 years of hands-on experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a manufacturing or industrial setup.

• Strong knowledge of industrial machinery and mechanical components.

• Experience in handling maintenance tools, measuring instruments, and power tools.

• Ability to work independently and handle emergency breakdowns.

• Good understanding of workplace safety practices.
