Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Production Officer to oversee and manage production operations in a chemical manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, manpower management, process safety, SOP compliance, and ensuring efficient plant operations while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

• Manage and handle day-to-day production activities.

• Plan and execute production schedules to achieve production targets.

• Ensure smooth execution of production processes as per SOP.

• Monitor production cycles and ensure timely completion of all stages.

Manpower & Operations Management

• Allocate work to production team members based on production planning.

• Monitor manpower productivity and ensure timely execution of tasks.

• Supervise plant operations and maintain operational discipline.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure strict adherence to safety norms and procedures.

• Monitor safe handling of chemicals and equipment.

• Support and coordinate internal GMP activities.

• Investigate production deviations, identify root causes, and implement CAPA.

Documentation & Coordination

• Maintain accurate production records and reports.

• Prepare and update SOPs for production processes.

• Coordinate with Quality Control and Quality Assurance teams to ensure product quality.

• Coordinate with the Maintenance team for equipment upkeep and plant maintenance.

• Review and approve validation protocols and reports.

Equipment Handling Experience

Candidate must have experience working with:

• Reactors (SSR, GLR)

• Multimill

• Centrifuge

• Nutch Filter

• Vacuum Tray Dryer

• Water Jet Ejector Vacuum System

Technical Skills Required

• AutoCAD (2D/3D)

• MS Office & MS Outlook

• DCS, HMI & SCADA Systems

• SAP System

• SOP preparation and implementation

• Manual and automated plant operations
