Utility Maintenance Engineer (Halol)
Job Description:
- Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance: Perform routine inspections and emergency repairs on utility equipment to ensure continuous, reliable operation.
- System Operation: Manage and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, boiler, compressor, and water treatment (WTP/ETP) systems.
- Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve malfunctions, utilizing root cause analysis to reduce future failures.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all maintenance complies with safety standards (e.g., OSHA, GIDC) and environmental regulations.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of utility consumption, maintenance activities, and machinery history in logbooks.
- Coordination: Collaborate with external contractors and internal departments to minimize production disruptions.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (sometimes a Diploma with relevant experience).
- Experience: 3–5 years in utility maintenance, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HVAC, electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and maintenance management software.
