Job Description:

Role Overview-

The Senior Accountant will serve as a core pillar of the finance and accounting function, responsible for end-to-end accounting operations, statutory compliance, financial reporting, and team oversight. This role demands strong technical depth, process rigour, and the ability to work independently while collaborating closely with management and external stakeholders.

This is not a data-entry role.
This is an ownership role.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Control
• Manage end-to-end accounting, including books of accounts, journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Ensure accurate finalisation of accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Maintain strong internal controls and documentation standards
• Review and validate work prepared by junior accountants

Compliance & Statutory Filings
• Handle GST compliance: returns, reconciliations, notices, and audits
• Manage TDS calculations, filings, and reconciliations
• Support statutory audits, tax audits, and internal audits
• Coordinate with CA firms, auditors, and consultants

Reporting & Analysis
• Prepare monthly MIS reports with variance analysis and insights
• Track receivables, payables, and working capital metrics
• Assist management with financial data for decision-making
• Support budgeting and forecast exercises when required

Systems & Process Discipline
• Work on accounting software such as Tally / Zoho / ERP systems
• Drive process standardisation, checklists, and SOP adherence
• Ensure documentation is audit-ready at all times

Team & Stakeholder Management
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff
• Act as a bridge between operations, management, and external advisors
• Take accountability for timelines, accuracy, and compliance outcomes

Required Skills & Qualifications

Technical
• Strong hands-on experience in Tally (mandatory)
• Sound knowledge of Indian accounting standards & GST law
• Proficiency in Excel (reconciliations, summaries, MIS)
• Experience handling multiple entities or group structures preferred

Professional
• B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter / equivalent qualification
• High attention to detail with a compliance-first mindset
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Clear communication and documentation skills

Time -10 AM-7:00 PM

Working Days -5 days (Mon -Fri)
