Job Description:
  1. To supervise and manage testing, certification and release of raw materials/in-process products/Finished products and packing materials.
  2. To collect, compile, analyse the quality data for internal rejection, supplier's rejection and customer complaints and initiative corrective and preventive actions. Also follow for the response awaited cases with mktg/customer and conclude at earliest
  3. Products specs for internal testing referring to product testing values and sources along with attributes and procedures and put all the testing values in the system.
  4. Analyzing the quality deviation against std. specification & accordingly revising the standard specification and taking corrective action / preventive action (in coordination with the respective department heads)
  5. To set quality objectives and ensure its implementation. To quantify periodically and submit for mgmt qtr reviews
  6. Monthly presentation / display quality standards against plant production all around
  7. To maintain of high level of customer satisfaction and reduce complaints. Coordination in settlement of Customer Complaints within specified limit
  8. Compliance of new policies & activities given by management within specified limit
  9. Develop and implement quality plan, inspection plan and sampling plan. Ensuring the availability & Display of all the samples and SOP with proper mapping , lot no, code no etc.
  10. Ensuring Implementation of effective Quality management systems in the plant. (ISO 9000/ OSHAS/ BIS) etc with reporting of the periodic amendments done to improve the systems.
  11. Issuing JD & KRA for all team members as per their job profile
  12. Review of JD & KRA of all team members on monthly basis.
  13. Identify proper Skill and Training requirements for his team members along with HR in the starting of the year, which can be updated as per requirement. (Skill Matrix and Training Need Identification).
  14. To ensure that the team members attend training as per the training calendar and complete 24 hrs of skill training and 3 hrs of safety training at the end of the year.
  15. All real time transition in QM module as per SAP Master & Feedback to be given on daily basis.
  16. Strictly implementation of check points to prevent the flow of defective material to customer and in-house customers also and to be Respond within 48 hrs. against every Customer complaint
  17. Ensuring the Compliance of department Schedular - 98%
  18. New item code creation - To ensure process is completed within standard time and co-ordination for any missing information.
  19. Implementation of 5 S and monthly audit report to be submitted.
  20. Monitoring of Branding of all the products as per management guidelines.
  21. Preparation of customer satisfaction index.
  22. Circulation of Product specification manual and upgrade on Quarterly basis
  23. Process audit to be conduct periodically to ensure there is no variations in manufacturing.
