Position:      Safety Manager

Location:      Umbergaon, Vapi

Experience:    15 - 20 Years

Industries:      Steel

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve site-wide safety programs and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, ISO 45001, and other regulatory and company standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure safety is integrated into all operations and projects.
• Train, mentor, and supervise site safety officers and coordinators.
• Manage emergency response and preparedness programs.
• Maintain and report safety metrics (TRIR, LTIR, etc.) and develop strategies for continuous improvement.
• Act as the primary liaison for regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
• Lead and promote a proactive safety culture through behavior-based safety programs and leadership engagement.
• Oversee contractor safety management and compliance.
