Electrical Engineer

Job Description:

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Electrical Engineer with 3–5 years of experience in the real estate/construction sector. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, supervision, and maintenance of electrical systems in residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and execution of electrical works for residential/commercial real estate projects.

• Preparation and review of electrical drawings, load calculations, BOQ, and technical specifications.

• Coordination with consultants, architects, MEP teams, and contractors.

• Supervision of site activities including HT/LT panels, transformers, DG sets, cabling, lighting, earthing, and fire alarm systems.

• Ensuring compliance with local electrical codes and safety standards.

• Vendor management and material inspection.

• Monitoring project progress and ensuring timely completion within budget.

• Handling electrical approvals from government authorities.

• Conducting testing and commissioning of electrical systems.

• Preparing daily/weekly progress reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in real estate or construction projects.

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, HT/LT installations, and MEP coordination.

• Familiarity with AutoCAD and electrical design software.

• Knowledge of statutory approvals and safety standards.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in high-rise residential or commercial projects.

• Knowledge of energy-efficient systems and green building standards.

• Exposure to ERP/project management tools.
