ENGINEER CIVIL FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - DELHI

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our steel manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, and supervising civil and structural projects related to the plant infrastructure, ensuring safety, quality, and timely execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee construction of plant buildings, warehouses, roads, and other infrastructure.

• Plan and supervise foundation works for heavy equipment and steel structures.

• Conduct structural analysis and ensure compliance with relevant codes and standards.

• Inspect ongoing construction for quality, safety, and adherence to project specifications.

• Coordinate with architects, mechanical, electrical, and production teams for integrated project execution.

• Manage civil construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.

• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

• Perform soil investigation, material testing, and foundation evaluation for plant structures.

• Prepare reports, technical documentation, and project progress updates for management.

• Support maintenance and repair activities for existing civil structures within the plant.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.

• Minimum [X] years of experience in industrial or heavy construction projects, preferably in steel manufacturing or related industries.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, or similar structural design software.

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and standards.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with steel plant infrastructure or industrial construction projects.

• Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations in industrial settings.

• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team under strict timelines.
