| 5 | Overview | As the General Manager - Operations, you are responsible for overseeing and optimizing the operational functions of the Company. You play a critical role in ensuring the efficient production, quality control, labour management and timely delivery of our technical textile products, while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness. |
| 6 | Key Responsibilities | 1. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. 2. Production Management: Oversee all aspects of production processes, ensuring optimal utilization of resources and adherence to production schedules. 3. Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain robust quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of product quality and consistency. 4. Supply Chain Management: Manage the end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics, to ensure timely availability of raw materials and finished products. 5. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency enhancement, implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives. 6. Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership and direction to the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and employee development. 7. Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all employees. 8. Compliance Management: Ensure and monitor Plant and HR compliances. |

| 8 | Work Experience needed | Minimum 12 years of experience in a mid-sized geosynthetic textile manufacturing company, having first hand knowledge of production, processes and quality assurance. |
| 9 | Skills Required | 1. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. 2. Excellent multi tasking, analytical and problem-solving abilities. Hands-on approach to production and managing teams. 3. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. 4. Familiarity with health and safety regulations and best practices. |
