About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Finance
Specialist with hands-on experience in US accounting processes. The ideal
candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, assist in month-end
close activities, and work closely with senior finance team members to ensure
accurate and timely financial reporting. This role is well-suited for someone eager
to grow in a US accounting and advisory environment while collaborating
effectively with internal teams.
 
 
Key Responsibilities
 ●     Financial Modeling & Analysis:
○     Handle day-to-day accounting tasks including accounts payable, accounts
receivable, and general ledger entries.
○     Process vendor bills, customer invoices, and expense reports accurately and
on time.
○     Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular basis.
 
●     Bookkeeping & Accounting:
○     Oversee daily bookkeeping operations including accounts
payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
○     Ensure all financial transactions are recorded in compliance with US GAAP,
particularly with regard to SaaS revenue recognition standards (ASC 606).
○     Manage payroll processing in collaboration with third-party service providers.
 
●     Financial Reporting:
○     Prepare accurate and timely financial reports including profit & loss
statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
○     Coordinate with senior finance specialists and managers to close pending
items and resolve discrepancies
○     Track and report on SaaS-specific KPIs.
●     Collaboration & Process Improvement:
○     Communicate clearly with internal stakeholders regarding accounting
queries, timelines, and follow-ups.
○     Proactively flag issues, inconsistencies, or missing information to seniors.
○     Assist in improving accounting processes, checklists, and documentation.

 
Required Skills and Qualifications
●     Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline (MBA
Finance or CA Inter preferred).
●     2–3 years of relevant experience in US accounting or bookkeeping roles
ideally within the SaaS domain.
●     Strong understanding of US accounting standards and SaaS-specific
financial frameworks (e.g., ASC 606).
●     Hands-on experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks
Online, Xero, or similar tools.
●     Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, formulas,
and financial modeling.
 
Key Skills
●     Excellent client communication and relationship management
●     Strong financial reporting and analytical abilities
●     Deep knowledge of US GAAP and SaaS accounting standards
●     Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
●     Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
