WELDER FOR STEEL MANUFACTURING - GUJARAT

Job Description:

• Fabrication & Assembly: Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to weld, cut, and shape steel components in various positions (flat, vertical, overhead).
• Welding Operations: Perform high-quality MIG, TIG, or Stick welding, ensuring proper fusion of metal parts.
• Inspection & Quality Control: Inspect completed welds for defects, ensuring they meet structural integrity standards and company specifications.
• Equipment Maintenance: Set up, calibrate, and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machines (e.g., torches, plasma cutters).
• Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA and company safety protocols, using protective gear to manage heat and fumes.
• Production Collaboration: Work with fabricators and engineers to ensure projects are completed on schedule. 
   

• Experience: Proven experience as a welder or fabricator in a manufacturing setting.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and/or Stick welding techniques; ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Certifications: Valid welding certification (AWS or similar) is often required.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy materials, and work in varied positions.
• Attention to Detail: Strong focus on precision and quality control.
