Litigation Manager(AVP) – Legal SME Hyderabad

Job Description:

This role handles State Legal Team for providing Legal support to Business/Collection Team, execution of Legal tools, managing Crisis with the support of law enforcement agencies, Resolution of assigned High value NPA/Disposal cases/ writeoff cases by utilising Legal tools, providing legal guidance, managing litigation and disputes, ensuring regulatory compliance with state-specific laws and mitigating legal risks to protect the company's interests within the designated territory. The State
Legal Manager to work closely with local business units to support operational goals and strategic initiatives.

• Handling entire zone and ensuring Recoveries by Supervising and monitoring the initiation of SARFAESI proceedings in all eligible cases.
• Supervising and monitoring initiation of Arbitration case.
• Formulating the strategy for recoveries in all NPA and Bad Debt cases.
• Co-Ordinating with different Teams inter alia Business and Collection Units.
• Provide subject matter expertise to internal teams on litigation-related issues.
• Resolution of assigned NPA/DL/Write-off contracts through legal tools.
• Monitor and mitigate legal risks across branches and business units in the state/s.
• Coordinate with external counsels for case filings, hearings, and settlements.
• Review and validate legal documentation including contracts, notices, and affidavits.
• Maintain legal MIS and trackers for case progress, risk exposure, and compliance status.
• Ensure adherence to state-specific legal and regulatory requirements.
• Escalate high-risk or complex cases to the Circle Head.
• Support audits, inspections, and internal reviews with relevant legal data.
• Guiding Regional / State Business units on Legal / Compliance matters.
• Ensuring proper legal MIS and sharing reports regularly as per TAT.
• Ensure timely and proper invoice management with external vendors
• Present periodic reports to senior legal leadership.
