Department: Projects / Business Development
Reporting To: Sales Head
Location: Surat, Ahmedabad
Salary Range: ₹9.06 – ₹12.00 LPA
Role Overview
The Liaisoning Officer will be responsible for managing government relations, handling tendering processes, coordinating DPR preparation, and ensuring compliance for environmental and infrastructure projects (ETP/STP/WTP). The role requires strong coordination with government authorities, PSUs, regulatory bodies, and internal teams to ensure timely approvals and successful project execution.
Key Responsibilities
1. Government Liaisoning & Approvals
Liaise with government departments, PSUs, municipal corporations, PCB, water authorities, and regulatory bodies.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with government officials.
Coordinate approvals, clearances, inspections, and statutory documentation.
Follow up with authorities for project-related permissions and compliance matters.
2. Tender Management
Identify and track government tenders related to ETP, STP, WTP, and environmental projects.
Coordinate internally for technical documentation and commercial submissions.
Ensure timely tender submission and compliance with tender conditions.
Attend pre-bid meetings and manage clarifications and corrigendum.
Maintain tender documentation and records.
3. DPR (Detailed Project Report) Coordination
Coordinate preparation and submission of DPRs for government and PSU projects.
Collect data from technical, finance, and project teams.
Ensure DPR compliance with government guidelines and approval formats.
Follow up for DPR review, revisions, and approvals.
4. Project Execution Support
Support project teams during execution of government projects.
Coordinate for work orders, agreements, billing approvals, and payment follow-ups.
Assist in audits, inspections, and statutory compliance documentation.
Ensure adherence to government norms and tender rules.
5. Documentation & Record Management
Maintain proper records of:
Tender documents
DPR submissions
Approvals & correspondence
Contracts & agreements
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of government tendering processes
Understanding of DPR structure for water & wastewater projects
Familiarity with ETP / STP / WTP projects
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Strong follow-up and documentation discipline
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and departments
Qualifications
Graduate / Post-Graduate (Engineering / Environmental / Commerce preferred)
Diploma or certification in Environmental Engineering or Project Management (preferred)
Experience Required
3–8 years of relevant experience in:
Government Liaisoning
Tender handling
DPR coordination
Infrastructure / Environmental / EPC projects
