Job Description:

We are a Level-3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit with a strong focus on quality, safety, and family-centric care. As part of our expansion and strengthening of clinical services, we are looking to recruit qualified NICU nursing staff through your agency.

Please find below the job requirements for the positions we wish to hire:

🔹 Position 1: Senior NICU Nurse

Department: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Reporting To: NICU In-Charge / Medical Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced nursing care to critically ill neonates (ELBW, preterm, ventilated babies, sepsis, surgical cases).
  • Handle and monitor ventilators, CPAP, NIV, HFNC, infusion pumps, phototherapy units.
  • Perform and assist in advanced procedures: IV lines, umbilical lines care, arterial lines, medication administration.
  • Continuous monitoring of vitals and early identification of clinical deterioration.
  • Supervise and guide junior nurses during shifts.
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control, aseptic practices, and NICU SOPs.
  • Support doctors during emergencies and neonatal resuscitation.
  • Accurate documentation and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Parent counselling support and discharge education.

Qualification & Experience:

  • GNM or B.Sc. Nursing (mandatory)
  • Minimum 4–6 years of NICU / ICU experience
  • NRP training preferred
  • Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills

🔹 Position 2: Junior NICU Nurse

Department: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Reporting To: Senior NICU Nurse / NICU In-Charge

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide routine nursing care to stable neonates under supervision.
  • Monitor vitals, intake/output, feeds, and daily nursing observations.
  • Assist in procedures and setup of NICU equipment.
  • Maintain hygiene, thermoregulation, feeding support, and developmental care (KMC).
  • Follow infection control and hand hygiene protocols strictly.
  • Maintain proper documentation and nursing records.
  • Support parents with basic education and emotional reassurance.
  • Participate in training and skill development programs.

Qualification & Experience:

  • GNM or B.Sc. Nursing
  • 0–3 years experience (Freshers with NICU exposure may be considered)
  • Willingness to work in shifts and learn advanced NICU care
