Job Description:

Position:    Site Manager

Location:   Ankleshwar

Experience:  15 - 20 Years

Industries:  Chemical

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Leadership

  • Lead end-to-end plant operations including Production, Maintenance, Utilities, EHS, Quality, SCM, and Administration.
  • Achieve production targets in line with business plans.
  • Improve plant capacity utilization and operational efficiency.
  • Drive TPM, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and digital initiatives.
  • Ensure smooth plant commissioning or expansion (if applicable).
  • Safety, Health & Environment (EHS)
  • Ensure strict compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
  • Drive Zero Harm / Zero Incident culture.
  • Lead HAZOP studies, risk assessments, and process safety management.
  • Ensure compliance with:
  • Factory Act
  • Pollution Control Board norms
  • Hazardous Chemicals Handling Rules
  • Local environmental regulations
  • Chair safety review meetings and audits.
  • Financial & P&L Management
  • Own plant-level P&L and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Manage operating budgets and CapEx projects.
  • Drive reduction in conversion cost per MT.
  • Optimize working capital and inventory levels.
  • Improve EBITDA and productivity metrics.
  • Quality & Compliance
  • Ensure adherence to ISO standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
  • Ensure compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement in yield, cycle time, and waste reduction.
  • Lead internal and external audits.
  • People & Industrial Relations
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams (200–1000+ workforce).
  • Drive performance management and talent development.
  • Maintain strong industrial relations and manage union interactions.
  • Build succession pipeline for key roles.
  • Stakeholder & Community Management
  • Interface with corporate leadership and business heads.
  • Coordinate with government and statutory authorities.
  • Maintain positive relationships with local communities.
  • Support customer visits and global audits.

Required Qualification: - M.SC/B.E/B.Tech- Chemical

Salary :-  Upto 30.00 LPA
