Job Description:
  1. Key Responsibilities
  • Market Expansion & Strategy: Identify and acquire new B2B clients, including supplement brands, pharmaceutical companies, and e-commerce partners.
  • Contract Manufacturing (3P) Management: Secure and manage third-party manufacturing orders, handling the end-to-end sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term partnerships with distributors, healthcare professionals, and international buyers.
  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Quality teams to customize product offerings (e.g., gummies, tablets, powders) based on client requirements.
  • Commercial Negotiation: Prepare business proposals, quotations, and MoUs while ensuring commercial terms maintain company margins.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all discussions and products comply with domestic and global standards such as FSSAI, AYUSH, USFDA, and EU regulations.
  1. Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Business Administration

Experience:

Typically 2-3 years in business development within the nutraceutical, herbal, or pharmaceutical manufacturing sectors.

Proven track record in B2B sales or contract manufacturing models is mandatory.

Regulatory Knowledge:

Deep understanding of industry-specific compliance (GMP, ISO, FSSAI) and international export regulations.

  • Digital Literacy & AI: Proficiency in CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) and using AI-driven analytics for predictive lead scoring and trend identification.
  • Strategic Communication: Ability to frame complex manufacturing capabilities into clear value propositions for diverse stakeholders.
  • Market Intelligence: Analyzing emerging trends like personalized nutrition, sustainable packaging, and advanced delivery systems to pitch innovative solutions.
  • Negotiation & Closing: High-level deal-making skills for high-value manufacturing contracts and global tenders.
  • Travel Flexibility: Willingness to travel extensively (often up to 50%) for trade fairs, exhibitions, and client site visits.
