Job Description:
JD_Value Stream Manager
1. Work closely and coordinate with the planning and scheduling team to ensure that
weekly and monthly customer demand is met, and align production schedules accordingly.
2. Communicate requirements to all stakeholders, including integrating them into QA plans
as set forth by the customer.
3 Collaborate with cross-functional teams on delivery, commitments, and change
management.
4 Address and resolve changes related to product and process quality.
5 Represent the Voice of the Customer (VoC) and resolve any arising quality concerns
promptly.
6 Ensure that corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for product, process, and quality-
related issues are implemented.
7 Drive visual management systems to improve shop floor performance and process
visibility.
8 Introduce and track KPIs across the value stream such as:
OTD (On-Time Delivery)
Monthly Revenue Target Achievement – Own and Deliver.
9 Conduct regular performance reviews and present action plans for continuous
improvement.
10 Work with Quality, R&D, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to implement
improvement initiatives.
11 Identify bottlenecks and opportunities for operational improvement.
12 Own new product development (NPD) in collaboration with product development
teams – From RFQ (Manufacturing & Quality) to FA approval & conversion of FA order to
regular order.
13 Manage and optimize FG and SFG inventory levels and reduce excess stock.
14. Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance across
operations.
15. Act as a liaison between customer and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and
quick response to issues.
16. Support & Champion Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and 5S initiatives to improve process
efficiency.
17. Interact with customers to maximize value and satisfaction and ensure long-term
business relationships, conduct monthly, quarterly & half-yearly business reviews, visit
customer sites to understand their requirements in detail.
18. Ensure adherence to ISO/TS quality standards and regulatory requirements.
19. Lead and mentor team members to drive engagement and performance.
20. Represent SEE Group Participate in various exhibitions that the company may decide to
participate in from time to time.
21. Reach out to market & potential new customers whom product & service range meet
SGE Group offering, Convert inquiries into business.
Added Roles and Responsibilities:
22 Take complete end-to-end ownership of the assigned value stream, including Planning,
Finished Goods, and Semi-Finished Goods management, ensuring seamless coordination
from order receipt to final dispatch.
23 Establish, monitor, and maintain robust inventory control systems, ensuring minimum
stock levels, safety stock, and buffer quantities are always in place to prevent line stoppages
and meet customer demand consistently.
24 Drive OTD (On-Time Delivery) adherence through proactive follow-up and
coordination, working closely with internal planning teams and external suppliers/vendors
to eliminate delays, expedite critical materials, and ensure customer commitments are
achieved.
25 Ensure perpetual system management, keeping SAP - System data accurate, updated,
and reflective of real-time production, inventory, and dispatch status to support effective
decision-making.
26 Collaborate with procurement and other teams to resolve material shortages, improve
supplier performance, and ensure timely availability of purchased components and
outsourced processes.
27 Implement structured review mechanisms (daily production meetings, material
availability checks, supplier follow-ups) to anticipate risks and drive preventive actions
before they impact delivery.
