Job Description:
An ERP Computer Operator manages, updates, and validates accurate business data within systems like SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics. They are responsible for daily data entry, monitoring system performance, generating reports, troubleshooting errors, and supporting end-users to ensure data integrity across modules like inventory, finance, and HR.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Entry & Maintenance: Perform high-speed, accurate entry, updating, and validation of information in the ERP system.
- System Monitoring: Monitor system performance, batch jobs, and server operations to ensure uptime.
- Data Integrity & Security: Ensure data accuracy, run backups, and manage security protocols.
- Reporting: Generate and distribute operational reports and data analytics.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Resolve user queries, troubleshoot minor technical issues, and escalate complex problems to IT.
- Process Improvement: Identify data discrepancies and improve data management workflows.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous experience with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), data management, and basic computer troubleshooting.
- Analytical Abilities: High attention to detail, accuracy, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or Business Administration is often preferred, but not always required for entry-level roles.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to support end-users and collaborate with departments.
