Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies for construction materials, equipment, and services.

  2. Vendor identification, evaluation, and negotiation.

  3. Prepare and process purchase orders in line with project budgets.

  4. Compare quotations and ensure cost-effective procurement.

  5. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors.

  6. Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.

  7. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with store & project teams.

  8. Ensure compliance with company policies and contractual terms.

  9. Prepare procurement reports for management review.

  10. Handle rate analysis and cost control.


🔹 Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Supply Chain / Commerce.

  • 5–10 years of experience in procurement (preferably in infrastructure or construction sector).

  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

  • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Tally / other procurement software).

  • Good communication and analytical skills.


🔹 Preferred Skills:

  • Understanding of construction materials (cement, steel, aggregates, MEP items, etc.).

  • Cost analysis and budgeting capability.

  • Ability to work under tight project timelines.
