Mission Planning & Analyst
Job Description:
Job Summary
We are seeking a Mission Planning and Analysis Engineer for aerospace industry. The candidate will be responsible for designing, simulating, and analyzing mission trajectories for launch vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
● Design, analyze, and optimize space mission trajectories and orbital transfers.
● Perform mission simulations, feasibility studies, and trade-off analyses.
● Conduct payload and launch vehicle performance assessments.
● Support mission operations planning, including contingency planning and re-entry analysis.
● Prepare and present technical documentation, reports, and mission review material.
● Contribute to risk assessment, reliability analysis, and mission assurance processes.
Required Skills
● Strong knowledge of orbital mechanics, astrodynamics, and space mission design.
● Proficiency in STK, GMAT, MATLAB, Python, or similar mission analysis tools.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
● Ability to interpret mission requirements and translate them into feasible solutions.
Eligibility
● Bachelor’s/Master’s in Aerospace Engineering, Astrodynamics, Space Science, or related field.
Preferred Skills
● Experience with launch vehicle performance modeling and payload optimization.
● Familiarity with spacecraft subsystem interactions (propulsion, thermal, GNC, communications).
● Exposure to risk modeling, reliability analysis, and mission assurance.
● Knowledge of international space mission standards and regulatory guidelines.
● Strong teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.
