Sr. Executive / Asst. Manager – HSE, Environment at Roha

Job Description:

Min Qualification: BE/B.Tech. Chemical/Petrochem/Mechanical with M. Теch./ M.Sc. Env. OR ADIS from recognized institution as additional.
Min Experience: 3 year
Work location: Roha location in Maharashtra
Reporting To: HOD (HSE)
Peers (Functional Interaction with): HODs/HOSs/Executives/TMs/ Employees for different purposes during day-to-day operations.

Job Purpose / Responsible for:
Compliance of role, responsibilities and accountabilities with respect to Departmental Key Processes.
Provides HSE support and advice to various departments and functions in line with Company HSE Policies, Management Systems, Procedures and Practices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Compliance with applicable Legal Requirements:
Assist in preparation of applications related to environmental requirements i.e. Environmental Clerance (EC), Consent to Operate (CTO), Consent to Establish (CTE).
Filing of statutory returns pertaining to environment legislation i.e. Form IV, Form V, etc.
Assist in maintaining statutory records required as per EPA and rules made thereunder.
Updates about legislative changes and implementation of the same.
Conduct Periodic Evaluation of legal requirements.

2) Operation and Maintenance of Environment Management Systems:
Preparation of operation and maintenance plans related to Environment Management in line with standards, codes and applicable legal requirements.

3) Internal Inspections and Audits
Conduct Self and Internal Audits, Compilation of NCR and CAPA Reports, assist in coordinating External and Third-Party as well as statutory audits
Conduct and evaluate environment inspections and analyze trends and suggest departments to initiate corrective actions.
Preparation of data for Supply Chain i.e. Customers, suppliers EHS Audits Conduct environmental audits and studies as per the legal and standards requirements i.e. Third-party Environmental audits, LCA study

4) HSE Training:
Evaluate competency in the field of environment and initiate improvement actions. Conduct HSE refresher training, Environmental briefings

5) Environment Management Systems Performance Monitoring and Measurement:
Monitoring day-to-day operations of pretreatment plant, Effluent Treatment Plant which includes primary, secondary and tertiary treatment followed by ZLD comprising of Ultra Filtration, Reverse Osmosis and MVR.
Prepare trend analysis of Environment monitoring reports / Ensure compliance of HSE monitoring as per plan.
Assist in preparation of various Environment Monitoring Performance Reports.

6) Implementation of Environment Management Operational Control Procedures:
Implementation of IMS Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001: 2018)
Review and revise departmental Quality Procedures/Quality Instructions and applicable common QPs / QI Maintain records of wastes generation, review and clearance of Protocols
Organizing various HSE Promotional Activities.

7) Sustainability:
Data collection and Compilation related to ESG, i.e. Business Responsibility Sustainability Reporting (BRSR), etc.
Maintain and monitor system for Carbon Footprint Measurement and identifying & establishing ways of reduction Developing Formats for Data Collection, Monitoring and Analysis

8) Environmental improvement initiatives:
Initiate actions with respect to various environmental initiatives, i.e. Reduction of influent, improve quality of effluent, reduction of wastes, reduction of hazardous waste generation & disposal quantity.
Implementing steps for pretreatment and recycling of effluent.

9) Project Management:
Planning and Execution of Environment-related Projects Implementation of various schemes related to environment management systems including water, air, hazardous wastes, etc.
