Sr. Executive/ Asst. Manager HSE, Fire at Roha in Maharashtra

Job Description:

Min Qualification: BE/B.Tech. Fire from recognized institution preferably from (National Fire Service College, Nagpur) with ADIS (Additional Qualification available)
and Heavy Vehicle Driving License must.
Min Experience: 3 year
Work location: Roha location in Maharashtra
Reporting To: HOD (HSE)
Peers (Functional Interaction with): HODs/HOSs/Executives/TMs/ Employees for different purposes during day-to-day operations.

Job Purpose / Responsible for:
Compliance of role, resporsibilities and accountabilities with respect to Departmental Key Processes.
Provides HSE Fire support and advice to various departments and functions in line with Company HSE Policies, Management Systems, Procedures and Practices.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
1) Compliance with applicable Legal Requirements:
Assist in preparation of renewal applications, filing of statutory returns and maintaining the statutory records related to HSE & Fire.
Keep updated on legislative changes and best practice methods and conduct Periodic Evaluation of legal requirements.

2) Risk Management (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control):
Ensure adequacy of existing risk controls of HSE & Fire activities
Participate in Risk Assessments of non-routine tasks and suggest risk controls.
Participate in Job Safety Analysis, Fire & Safety Studies and other specialized risk assessment and environmental assessment studies.

3) Operation and Maintenance of Fire Fighting Equipment, fire tenders and Infrastructure Facilities including spare parts management:
Preparation of operations and maintenance plans related to fire installation in line with standards, codes and applicable legal requirements.
Assist in preparation of departmental costing reports of fire and safety systems
Monitoring performance of static and mobile firefighting system such as monitors, hydrants, emergency vehicles like fire tender, ambulance, etc.
Maintain spare part inventory.

4) Fire Fighting Training and Drills including communications:
Evaluate competency of the company and other employees and initiate improvement actions.
Conduct HSE & Fire refresher training, HSE & Fire briefings, Took Box Talks, Fire Drills and PPE Drills & Audits.

5) Internal Inspections and Audits:
Conduct Self and Internal Audits, Compilation of NCR and CAPA Reports, assist in coordinating External/ Third Party/ Statutory Audits related to HSE and Fire.
Conduct and evaluate Fire inspections points and analyze its trends and suggest departments to initiate corrective actions.

6) HSE Performance Monitoring and Measurement:
Ensure compliance of HSE & Fire monitoring as per plan.
Assist in preparation of various HSE & Fire Performance Reports.
Trend analysis of HSE & Fire monitoring reports.

7) Emergency Planning, Preparedness and Response:
Attending On-Site and Off-site Emergencies, Calls Attending off-Site Emergency Calls as per the directives from DISH/ MARG/ Govt. Authorities.
Acting as per the requirement under the off-site emergency management plan
Planning and co-ordination of Organization & Department Level Mock Drills, i.e. Full-Scale, Shopfloor Mock Drills, etc.

8) Implementation of HSE Operational Control Procedures:
Implementation of Integrated Management System (ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001: 2018) Review and revise departmental Quality Procedures/ Quality Instructions and applicable common QPs /QI.
Maintain records of Fire & Safety systems
Organizing various HSE & Fire Promotional Activities.

9) Project Management:
Familiar with latest fire fighting codes and standards such as, National Building code, NFPA, TAC, The Maharashtra Fire Prevention and Life Safety Measures Act, 2006 and Rules thereunder.
Implementation of various changes in Fire Fighting systems of plants through Management of Change (MOC/FCO) process
Implementation of Project related to Fire Fighting system, design re-validation and safe execution and maintenance of the same.
