Data Analyst

Job Description:

Role Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst who can convert complex data into meaningful insights that help drive business decisions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL, Python, and data visualisation tools and experience working with large datasets.

Key Responsibilities:
Collect, clean, and analyse large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
Write complex SQL and MongoDB queries to extract and manipulate data.
Build dashboards and reports using BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Perform data validation, quality checks, and anomaly detection.
Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) and generate actionable insights.
Automate data processes using Python scripting.
Collaborate with business, product, and engineering teams to understand data requirements.
Present insights and reports clearly to stakeholders to support decision-making.

Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of SQL
Experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy)
Data visualisation using Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools
Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
Understanding of ETL processes
Basic knowledge of statistics and data modelling

Good to Have:
Experience with Apache Airflow
Experience with Apache Spark
Exposure to cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
3–5 years of experience in a Data Analyst or Analytics role

Preferred Experience:
Experience working with large datasets and data warehouses
Exposure to business analytics, product analytics, or risk analytics
Ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions
