Job Description:

Job Summary

The CEO will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, overall direction, and operational oversight to ensure the successful execution of residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. The role involves managing all aspects of project management, government liasoning, budgeting, quality control, cost optimization, contracts, vendor management, and stakeholder engagement.

The CEO will lead a team of professionals and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest quality standards while adhering to regulatory compliance and safety norms.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership & Business Growth
  • Develop and implement business strategies to achieve the company's long-term vision and growth objectives.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including public-private partnerships, joint ventures, and real estate development projects.
  • Strengthen relationships with investors, government agencies, financial institutions, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure profitability and sustainable growth through financial planning and revenue generation strategies.
  1. Project Management & Execution
  • Oversee planning, execution, and completion of multiple construction projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks are met.
  • Establish robust project monitoring systems and risk mitigation strategies to manage potential delays and cost overruns.
  • Approve project schedules, material procurement plans, and resource allocation to ensure efficiency.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants for seamless execution of designs and specifications.

 

 

  1. Government Liasoning & Compliance
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and municipal corporations.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including environmental clearances, RERA, labor laws, and building codes.
  • Manage licensing, approvals, and permits required for construction projects.
  • Engage in policy advocacy and negotiations with government bodies for smooth execution of infrastructure projects.
  1. Budgeting, Cost Control & Financial Management
  • Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and cash flow projections for the company.
  • Implement stringent cost control measures to minimize project expenses and maximize profit margins.
  • Approve contracts, pricing, and vendor agreements while ensuring cost competitiveness.
  • Oversee financial audits, tax planning, and investor reporting.
  1. Contracts & Vendor Management
  • Negotiate and finalize contracts with contractors, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Ensure contractual obligations are met and legal risks are minimized.
  • Develop a strong vendor network to ensure timely procurement of high-quality materials at competitive rates.
  • Resolve disputes and claims related to contracts or project execution.
  1. Quality Control & Safety Compliance
  • Implement ISO and industry best practices to ensure the highest standards of quality.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks to prevent defects and rework.
  • Enforce strict safety protocols to ensure worker safety and compliance with construction site regulations.
  • Promote the use of sustainable and innovative construction techniques.
  1. People Management & Organizational Leadership
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of professionals across project management, engineering, finance, and operations.
  • Foster a performance-driven culture with clear KPIs and accountability.
  • Ensure workforce training and skill development for increased efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
  • Promote a culture of innovation, ethics, and corporate governance.

 

 

 

  1. Stakeholder Management & Reporting
  • Act as the primary representative of the company with clients, investors, banks, and industry associations.
  • Present business performance reports, project updates, and financial statements to the Board of Directors.
  • Address concerns and ensure transparent communication with customers and project stakeholders.

Key Qualifications & Experience

  • Education:
    • B.Tech / B.E. in Civil Engineering / Construction Management / Architecture.
    • MBA (preferred) in Project Management / Finance / Business Administration.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 20+ years of experience in the construction industry.
    • At least 5-7 years in a senior leadership role (CEO / COO / Director level).
    • Proven track record in executing large-scale residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.
  • Skills & Competencies:
    • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
    • Deep understanding of project planning, execution, and risk management.
    • Excellent knowledge of government regulations, compliance, and liasoning.
    • Financial acumen with expertise in budgeting, cost control, and contract negotiations.
    • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.

  • Project Delivery: Completion within timeline and budget adherence.
  • Revenue & Profitability: Achieving financial targets and growth projections.
  • Government Approvals: Timely acquisition of permits and clearances.

  • Safety Records: Zero major safety violations and accidents.
