Senior Engineer Electrical - O&M , Anantapur Andhra Pradesh
Job Description:
This role supports the Operation & Maintenance Manager in ensuring seamless operations of rocket engine testing facilities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ·
Electrical Systems O&M
• Maintain and troubleshoot power distribution systems, motors, transformers, and control panels.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply for critical test operations.
• Implement preventive and predictive maintenance for electrical assets. · Instrumentation & Automation
• Oversee calibration, operation, and maintenance of sensors, gauges, and instrumentation systems.
• Manage automation systems for test facility operations, including PLCs and SCADA.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace testing protocols and instrumentation accuracy. · Safety & Compliance · Enforce electrical and instrumentation safety standards (e.g., IEC, ISO 45001). · Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions. · Support test readiness activities with reliable instrumentation and automation systems.
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
OB OVERVIEW We are seeking a dedicated Senior Engineer with 4–7 years of experience in electrical, instrumentation, and automation systems for industrial plants.
DESIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation Engineering. • 4–7 years of O&M experience in industrial plants, preferably with aerospace or cryogenic systems exposure. • Strong expertise in electrical distribution, instrumentation calibration, and automation systems. • Familiarity with ERP systems, safety audits, and compliance protocols. • Proficiency in relevant design tools and software (AutoCAD, ETAP, or equivalent).
