Instrumentation Lead

Job Description:

Job Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage instrumentation engineering, maintenance, and project activities in the plant.
2. Ensure reliability and availability of field instruments, control systems, and automation systems.
3. Handle DCS, PLC, SCADA systems, control valves, transmitters, analyzers, and field instrumentation.
4. Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance of instrumentation systems.
5. Troubleshoot instrumentation issues and implement root cause analysis (RCA) to avoid recurrence.
6. Ensure compliance with safety standards, process safety requirements, and statutory regulations.
7. Coordinate with process, electrical, and mechanical teams for plant operations and shutdown activities.
8. Manage instrumentation projects, upgrades, and modifications.
9. Lead a team of instrumentation engineers/technicians and ensure proper training and development.
