Job Description:

Job Purpose
The Assistant Manager – Marketing will be responsible for business development, client
acquisition, and relationship management for waste management services including
hazardous waste disposal, landfill operations, incineration services, MEE (Multiple Effect
Evaporator), and solid & liquid waste treatment solutions. The role involves identifying
potential industrial clients, promoting waste management solutions, and ensuring
regulatory-compliant disposal services while achieving revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Client Acquisition
 Identify and develop new business opportunities in hazardous waste management,
solid waste management, and liquid waste treatment services.
 Generate leads and approach chemical, pharmaceutical, petrochemical, textile, dye
& intermediate, and manufacturing industries.

 Promote company services related to landfill disposal, incineration, MEE, waste
recycling, and treatment solutions.
 Achieve assigned revenue and business development targets.

2. Client Relationship Management
 Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective industrial
clients.
 Regularly visit client sites to understand waste generation processes and disposal
requirements.
 Provide technical guidance and solutions related to waste treatment and disposal
methods.
 Ensure customer satisfaction and long-term business partnerships.

3. Tendering & Proposal Management
 Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and service agreements for waste
disposal services.
 Participate in tender submissions, contract negotiations, and finalization of
agreements.
 Coordinate with technical, operations, and finance teams for proposal preparation.

4. Market Research & Strategy
 Conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking in the waste management
sector.
 Identify emerging opportunities in environmental services, sustainability, and waste
recycling.
 Develop marketing strategies to expand the company’s client base and market share.

5. Regulatory Compliance Awareness
 Maintain knowledge of environmental regulations and compliance requirements
related to waste management such as:
o Hazardous Waste Management Rules
o CPCB / SPCB guidelines
o Environmental Protection regulations
 Guide clients regarding legal and environmentally safe disposal practices.

6. Coordination with Internal Teams
 Work closely with plant operations, logistics, laboratory, and compliance teams to
ensure smooth execution of waste treatment services.
 Coordinate for waste sampling, analysis, transportation, and disposal planning.

7. Reporting & MIS
 Maintain customer database, sales pipeline, and marketing MIS reports.
 Provide regular updates to management on sales performance, market trends, and
client feedback.
 Track monthly revenue targets and business growth.

Key Skills & Competencies
 Strong knowledge of waste management processes (Landfill, Incinerator, MEE, Solid
& Liquid Waste Treatment)
 Business development and industrial marketing expertise
 Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
 Understanding of environmental regulations and waste disposal compliance
 Ability to develop long-term client relationships
 Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and reporting systems
