Hiring General Manager (Factory/ Plant) in Ahmedabad Location

Job Description:

• Lead and manage end to end plant operations to achieve production, quality, safety and delivery targets.
• Plan, organize and oversee daily production activities to meet or exceed customer expectations.
• Develop and implement systems, processes and performance metrics to improve productivity and ensure optimum utilization of resources.
• Monitor operations continuously and initiate corrective actions when needed.
• Recruit, develop and manage plant personnel while fostering a culture of accountability, safety and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate records for production, safety, attendance, payroll and ergonomics.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable company policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
• Maintain equipment health and drive preventive maintenance practices.
• Encourage and support employee engagement, innovation and cross functional collaboration.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Strong grasp of business fundamentals, including budgeting, resource planning and performance management.
• Hands on experience with industrial equipment and technical operations.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing KPIs, safety standards, quality protocols and inventory controls.
• Data driven decision maker with a strong problem solving mindset.

Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience in a manufacturing setup, preferably within Carbon, Automobile or Mechanical engineering industries.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).

Location: Hyderabad / Patancheru

Salary negotiable based on current salary and experience.
