SQL Developer

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Database Design & Development

• Design, develop, and maintain efficient and scalable database schemas

• Write and maintain complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers

• Implement business logic at the database layer

Performance Optimization

• Perform query optimization and performance tuning

• Analyze and improve database performance through indexing and optimization techniques

• Monitor and maintain high-performance database operations

Cloud & Data Management

• Work with Azure SQL and cloud-based database services

• Ensure data integrity, scalability, and security across applications

• Support database architecture for high-transaction systems

Collaboration & Project Management

• Work closely with developers, analysts, and cross-functional teams

• Manage and track tasks using JIRA

• Participate in code reviews and database solution discussions

Key Results You’ll Drive

• Improve database performance and system reliability

• Deliver scalable database architectures

• Reduce data processing time through optimized queries and indexing

• Build robust stored procedures and automation to support application workflows

• Contribute to secure and compliant data solutions for fintech and health tech clients

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server

• Strong expertise in T-SQL development

• Solid knowledge of query optimization and performance tuning

• Experience with Azure SQL or cloud-based database services

• Familiarity with JIRA or similar project management tools

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

• Exposure to fintech or health tech domains will be an added advantage
