Position:         Sr. Manager - Manufacture & Operation

Location:        Ahmedabad

Responsibilities:        

• Develop and implement corporate manufacturing strategies aligned with business goals.
• Monitor production performance across multiple manufacturing sites.
• Support plant leadership teams to achieve productivity and efficiency targets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing and process optimization.
• Standardize manufacturing practices, SOPs, and best practices across plants.
• Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency and resource utilization.
• Ensure all manufacturing sites comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory standards.
• Support internal and external regulatory audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance teams to maintain high product quality standards.
• Analyze plant-level KPIs including productivity, yield, deviations, and downtime.
• Prepare operational performance reports and dashboards for senior leadership.
• Identify performance gaps and drive corrective actions across sites.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Regulatory Affairs teams.
• Support technology transfer, scale-up activities, and new product launches across manufacturing sites.
• Assist in manufacturing capacity planning and plant expansion initiatives.
• Participate in capital investment planning for manufacturing facilities and equipment.

Required skills:

• Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes and GMP compliance
• Experience in Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma / Operational Excellence
• Strategic planning and data-driven decision-making
• Strong cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management
• Expertise in manufacturing performance analytics and KPI management

Required Qualification: - B.Pharm/M.Sc - Chemistry

Salary: - Upto 25.00 LPA
