Job Description:
A Manager Administration & Security in a steel manufacturing plantensures 24/7 site security, asset protection, and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include managing security personnel, access control, risk assessment, vendor management, and legal compliance, requiring strong industrial security experience and proficiency in security technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Operations: Oversee 24/7 security, material movement, gate management, CCTV monitoring, and access control for personnel/contract laborers.
- Asset Protection: Conduct vulnerability assessments and implement measures to prevent theft and protect company assets.
- Emergency Response: Lead crisis management, fire safety training, and incident investigation.
- Administration & Compliance: Manage security vendor performance, ensure statutory compliances, liaise with local authorities and police, and maintain security documentation.
- Plant Logistics & Security: Support overall security duties, intelligence gathering, and security audits.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 10-15+ years in industrial/corporate security, with preference for ex-servicemen (officer rank), paramilitary, or police personnel.
- Skills: Proficiency in security systems (CCTV, intrusion systems), MS Office, risk assessment, and crisis management.
- Knowledge: Understanding of legal provisions (IPC, CrPC, Arms Act, PSARA), and fire/safety management.
- Education: Graduate degree; MBA or relevant security certifications are highly desirable.

- Material Theft Prevention: High focus on tracking raw materials and finished goods movement.
- Contractor Management: Overseeing large workforces of contract labor.
- Industrial Relations: Maintaining a peaceful environment in collaboration with local communities.
