We are looking for a Team Lead – International Inside Sales who will manage and drive an international sales team focused on acquiring customers across global markets. The role involves sales strategy execution, team leadership, pipeline management, and revenue growth for the international business.
Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Planning
Develop and implement effective international sales strategies to drive revenue growth and meet targets.
Collaborate with senior management to align sales goals with overall business objectives.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential customer segments and sales opportunities.
Define sales processes, methodologies, and performance metrics to optimize sales effectiveness.
Team Leadership and Management
Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing inside sales team.
Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members to enhance their sales skills and performance.
Set clear sales targets, monitor individual and team progress, and provide regular feedback.
Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment encouraging knowledge sharing and best practices.
Sales Operations and Execution
Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the inside sales team ensuring efficient processes.
Collaborate with marketing and customer service teams to enhance the customer experience.
Monitor sales pipelines, analyze sales data, and identify areas for improvement.
Implement CRM systems and sales enablement tools to streamline operations.
Customer Relationship Management
Identify customer needs and provide tailored sales solutions.
Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and negotiations with international customers.
Build long-term relationships with customers to drive repeat business and satisfaction.
Sales Performance Analysis and Reporting
Analyze sales data and metrics to evaluate performance and identify trends.
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
Provide recommendations to optimize sales strategies and improve performance.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
4–7 years of experience in inside sales / international sales / EdTech / SaaS.
At least 1–2 years of experience managing a sales team.
Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
Proficiency in CRM systems, sales software, and data analysis tools.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced startup environment.
