Position: Project Head

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the annual business development strategy aligned with company revenue targets.
- Identify and onboard new clients including EPC contractors, PSUs, and industrial clients.
- Maintain strong client relationships, including engagement with senior-level stakeholders.
- Ensure continuous lead generation through client meetings, vendor registrations, pre-qualification, and empanelment processes.
- Maintain and regularly review the CRM-based opportunity pipeline to ensure adequate business prospects.
- Ensure minimum 3x pipeline coverage against annual revenue targets and drive repeat business, AMC, and rate contracts from existing clients.
- Conduct monthly pipeline and revenue forecast reviews with management.
- Review incoming tenders for technical feasibility, resource availability, timeline risks, and commercial viability.
- Lead cost estimation, pricing strategy, and margin analysis for project bids.
- Coordinate with QA, HSE, and Finance teams for bid approvals and compliance requirements.
- Ensure proper risk assessment, mitigation planning, and contractual clarity before tender submission.
- Negotiate commercial and technical terms with clients to secure profitable project orders.
- Ensure structured project kickoff for awarded projects and approve execution plans, manpower allocation, equipment deployment, and procurement strategy.
- Monitor project schedules, productivity, cost control, and resource utilization to ensure timely completion as per contractual milestones.
- Address and resolve major project, site, client, or resource-related escalations.
- Ensure alignment between business development commitments and project execution capabilities.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards, client quality requirements, and statutory HSE regulations.
- Review quality plans, inspection and test reports, and non-conformance reports (NCRs), and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Participate in internal and external audits and management review meetings.
- Promote a culture focused on zero rework, zero NCRs, and zero accidents.
- Monitor project financial performance including cost vs. budget and margin realization.
- Coordinate with the finance team for timely billing, payment follow-ups, and cash flow forecasting.
- Support resolution of commercial and contractual disputes when required.
- Lead customer feedback collection after project completion and implement lessons learned for continuous improvement.
- Strengthen long-term client relationships and convert satisfied clients into repeat business opportunities.
- Lead and mentor the Business Development team, Project Managers, and site teams.
- Ensure clear role allocation, performance monitoring, and team skill development.
- Support HR in manpower planning, recruitment, and training requirements.
