Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting:Proactively finding new business opportunities via cold calling, networking, social media, and referrals.
  • Sales Presentations:Delivering product/service demonstrations to potential clients, tailored to their specific needs.
  • Negotiation & Closing:

 Handling objections, negotiating terms, and finalizing deals.

  • Relationship Management:Nurturing existing client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Reporting & Strategy:Maintaining accurate records in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho) and providing market feedback.
  • Target Achievement:Consistently meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, or annual sales targets. 

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Sales Executive or in a relevant sales role.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office.
  • A "hunter" mentality with a strong, results-driven approach.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing is often preferred. 

Working Conditions

  • This role is often target-driven, fast-paced, and demanding.
  • It may involve travel for face-to-face client meetings, conferences, or trade exhibitions. 

Common Performance Metrics (KPIs)

  • Number of new leads generated.
  • Conversion rate of leads to clients.
  • Total revenue generated vs. target.
  • Customer retention and satisfaction rates.
