Job Description:

Position:          Maintenance Manager

Location:         Vapi

Experience:     12 - 15 Years

Industries:      Pharma - API

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all plant maintenance activities including mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, and utilities.
• Ensure smooth operation and preventive maintenance of API manufacturing equipment, reactors, centrifuges, dryers, and utility systems.
• Plan and execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, and regulatory requirements in maintenance operations.
• Maintain utilities such as boilers, chillers, HVAC, cooling towers, compressors, and water systems.
• Coordinate with production and engineering teams to ensure uninterrupted plant operations.
• Manage spare parts inventory, maintenance budgeting, and vendor coordination.
• Lead a team of maintenance engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Implement TPM, root cause analysis (RCA), and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure plant safety standards and statutory compliance related to equipment and utilities.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of API manufacturing equipment and utilities.
• Experience in GMP-regulated pharmaceutical plants.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and SAP/CMMS.
• Good leadership, problem-solving, and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of EHS and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Mechanical
