Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Site Assessment & Planning: Conduct soil testing, topographical surveys, and site feasibility studies for PV installation.
- Structural Design: Design foundation systems (piers, pedestals), structural steel elements for tracker systems, and support structures using AutoCAD and modeling software.
- Execution & Supervision: Manage contractors to install foundation, structures, inverters, and site infrastructure (drainage, roads) within budget and timelines.
- Site Layouts & Drawings: Create, check, and integrate CAD drawings for civil works, ensuring accuracy of RCC, shuttering, and piling drawings.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and safety protocols on site.
- Material Optimization: Perform BoQ (Bill of Quantities) estimation, costing, and structural optimizations for foundations
Key Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Experience: Proven experience (1–5+ years) in solar energy projects (ground-mounted preferred).
- Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, StaadPro/SAP2000, and MS Office (Excel).
- Knowledge: Structural steel design, geotechnical evaluation, and RCC design
