Position:        Shift Incharge - Production 

Location:        Nakhatrana - Bhuj

Experience:     5 - 10 Years

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor bromine production units, including chlorination, oxidation, and distillation processes
• Handle raw materials like brine, chlorine, and sulfur compounds safely and efficiently
• Control plant operations using Distributed Control System (DCS) for real-time monitoring and adjustments
• Maintain optimal process parameters (temperature, pressure, flow rates) to ensure product quality
• Perform start-up, shutdown, and emergency handling of process units
• Troubleshoot process deviations and coordinate with maintenance teams for quick resolution
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental (HSE) standards in chemical operations
• Conduct routine field checks, equipment inspections, and log sheet recordings
• Manage bromine storage, handling, and transfer operations following safety protocols
• Coordinate with lab/quality team for sample testing and product specifications
• Minimize process losses and improve efficiency through continuous monitoring
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and permit-to-work systems
• Maintain proper documentation of shift activities and incidents
• Assist in preventive maintenance and plant housekeeping activities
• Work in rotational shifts to support continuous plant operations

 Required Skills

• Team work, Communication (Verbal & Written), Analytical Skills, Pressure tolerance,
• Strong knowledge of bromine production processes and chemical plant operations
• Proficiency in Distributed Control System (DCS) operation and troubleshooting
• Good understanding of process parameters, instrumentation, and safety systems
• Awareness of HSE standards, SOPs, and safe chemical handling practices

Required Qualification: - Diploma/ B.E/B.Tech - Chemical
