Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Target Achievement: Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly targets for sales volume, net sales value (NSV), and market share in the assigned territory.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, train, and motivate a team of medical/nutrition officers (sales representatives) through field visits, performance coaching, and joint doctor calls.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Identify, build, and manage relationships with key healthcare professionals (KOLs) and hospital accounts.
  • Strategy Implementation: Execute company marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional strategies at the local level.
  • Distribution Management: Ensure stock availability and optimize the supply chain, including inventory checks with stockists and distributors.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor activities, analyze sales data, and provide regular feedback to zonal managers.
  • Compliance: Ensure all activities adhere to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and pharmaceutical ethics. 
     
Required Qualifications & Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Science (B.Sc), or business-related fields.
  • Experience: Proven experience (3–10 years) in pharmaceutical sales, specifically in a first-line management role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, team management, and analytical skills.
  • Tools: Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
