Job Description:
- Handle end-to-end trade clearing and settlement for equity, derivatives, and other financial instruments
- Ensure timely and accurate trade confirmation, reconciliation, and settlement processing
- Coordinate with custodians, clearing members, exchanges, and internal teams
- Monitor daily obligations and ensure funds/securities availability
- Resolve settlement discrepancies, breaks, and exceptions
- Maintain records and ensure compliance with exchange and regulatory guidelines
- Manage corporate actions, payouts, and pay-ins
- Prepare MIS reports and settlement-related documentation
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :
- Experience: 1–4 years in clearing & settlement / operations (broking, AMC, or financial services)
- Education: Graduate in Commerce/Finance (B.Com preferred; MBA is a plus)
- Strong knowledge of:
- Equity & Derivatives settlement lifecycle
- Exchanges like NSE/BSE
- Depositories (NSDL/CDSL)
- Good understanding of back-office systems and reconciliation processes
- Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
