Civil Site Engineer

Job Profile:
The Civil Site Engineer is responsible for supervising on-site construction activities and ensuring execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The role requires effective coordination with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders to deliver the project within time, budget, and safety norms.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and monitor all on-site civil works (excavation, foundations, concreting, masonry, finishing, plumbing, drainage, etc.)
Review and interpret construction drawings; resolve on-site technical issues.
Coordinate daily activities with contractors, subcontractors, and site workers.
Ensure quality standards through inspections, testing, and material verification.
Monitor site safety and enforce compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Prepare and maintain site records including progress reports, inspection logs, and material usage.
Preparation of bar bending schedules (BBS), quantity estimation, material requisitions and Preparation of running bills etc.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and project managers for approvals and updates.
Track work progress and escalate potential delays or issues.

Key Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in site execution and supervision of civil works.
Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, drawings, and industry standards.
Software Skills: Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office; software is an advantage.
